Primary Purpose
Exelon is currently engaged in a program to implement an Integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management system across Finance, Accounts Payable and Work Planning and Tracking functions. This project will retire several existing systems, bringing them into a hybrid-cloud based Oracle ERP environment. An integral component of this effort is ensuring users understand the changes that are coming and they are supported through their change journey. The role of the Change Management Process Area Lead will be to effectively support the framework used to proactively plan and manage the steps that need to occur to ensure the business impacted by the upcoming changes will be ready. This position is responsible for contributing to and supporting the design and implementation of change deliverables for their respective process area in support of change plans, communications and stakeholder engagement, feedback management and all aspects of training.
Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This position must sit in our Oakbrook Terrace - IL, Chicago - IL, Baltimore - MD, Philadelphia - PA, Washington - DC or Newark - DE office. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Primary Duties
+ Program Communications Delivery & Management: Manages and supports process area OCM activities including reviewing relevant communications and representing Apollo at process area Townhalls, Deep Dive Sessions and other meetings. Supports Change Networks by vetting content and representing Apollo to present process area specific content at Change Network Meetings. Reviews and provides feedback on process area specific deliverables, ensures deliverable quality, and approves process area OCM deliverables
+ Project Workstream Management (Scope, Schedule & Risk Management): Responsible for day to day activities and priorities of the respective process area OCM team. Contributes to team child workplan and manages progress in alignment with program milestones. Identifies and/or escalates RAID items that cannot be resolved at the team level
+ Process Area Training Management and Support: Reviews and approves process area specific training material deliverables and training materials. Vets and contributes to the process of identifying training populations. Contributes to end user training program and logistics design. May potentially serve as a Trainer.
+ Workstream Stakeholder Management: Leads team meetings. Key point of contact for Process Leads for respective process area OCM activities.
Job Scope
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the process area being supported or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience
+ 7-10 years' experience in Change Management or Communications associated with small to moderately sized change initiatives or part of a large team on a large project
+ Experience/knowledge of Organizational Change Management principles, methodologies, and tools.
+ Exceptional communication skills, able to express messages in different ways to facilitate a better understanding. Able to simplify the complex, making it easy for people to understand the changes, what they need to do, and how to succeed.
+ Excellent active listening skills, adapts communications style as needed to best suit the audience and situation. Agile, with a learning mindset.
+ Strong partnering and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and systemically and achieve results collaborating across organizational boundaries.
+ Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast, complex, and changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field
+ Organizational Change Management certification (e.g. Prosci, AMCP)
+ Problem solving and analytical skills
+ Project management skills (PMP certification a plus)
+ Leadership Development certification (e.g., HPT, MBTI, CQ)
+ Experience leading business/IT training design, development, and delivery for complex IT projects and audiences of varying levels and business functions.
Benefits
+ Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $108,000.00/Yr. – $148,500.00/Yr.
