What You'll Be Doing
+ Lead and supervise 2nd shift operations to ensure safe, efficient production of a stone quarry
+ Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime
+ Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards
+ Train and support team members to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
+ Communicate effectively with day shift leadership to ensure operational continuity
+ **This is a 2nd Shift Role: 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM Shift**
What Are We Looking For
+ Background in aggregates or sand and gravel
+ Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a production or industrial setting
+ Strong understanding of plant operations, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance
+ Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
+ Clear and professional communication across all levels of the organization
+ Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
+ Bilingual preferred
Essential Experience and Skills
+ Aggregate production experience and at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a related industry
+ Strong leadership abilities with clear, concise, and respectful communication skills
+ Ability to maintain composure and professionally present information, responding effectively to questions
+ Motivation and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with fluctuating shift schedules, extensive movement across the plant, and occasional lifting of heavy objects and working in confined spaces
Work Environment
This role operates in an outdoor industrial setting with exposure to varying weather conditions, heavy machinery, and loud noise. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position involves standing, walking, climbing, and lifting throughout the shift.
Physical Demands of the Job
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
+ Frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing on uneven surfaces and equipment
+ Manual dexterity to operate tools, controls, and machinery
+ Visual and auditory ability to safely navigate and monitor plant operations
+ Tolerance for working in dusty, noisy, and temperature-variable environments
