Job Summary and Qualifications

Organizes and conducts medically prescribed PT/OT programs to increase function, prevent disability; help patients of all ages adapt to task or environment, resume maximum functional independence and return to activities of daily living. Assists in the day to day coordination and supervision of all occupational therapy staff members, including but not limited to, scheduling, patient/staff conflict resolution, information management, staff orientation and education, recruitment/retention, quality improvement, marketing and all other duties assigned by appropriate supervisors.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Graduate of a school of Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy

+ State licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapy

+ Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.

+ Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.

+ Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

+ Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
