How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The Domestic Pricing Manager leads a regional team and
coordinates across the commercial organization to drive revenue on the Domestic
Pricing team in the Revenue Management organization. Each regional team is
responsible for the ongoing strategy, tactics, and execution of Delta’s market
level pricing and for the analysis of its resulting performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Lead a team of 4-6 analysts responsible for creating andimplementing pricing strategies in a dynamic, high-profile environment.
+ Promote development and growth of direct reports and broaderorganization.
+ Effectively communicate high-level industry actions acrossdepartment to both leaders, peers, and reports alike.
+ Work closely with groups within Revenue Management, NetworkPlanning, and other organizations to ensure that each pricing strategy isconsistent with Commercial priorities.
+ Drive process improvement and best practices outside ofregional per-view.
+ Lead divisional discussions on focus markets/criticalrevenue producing markets.
+ Represent revenue management at multi-departmental meetingsand with external stakeholders.
+ Develop both strategic and tactical plans that create asafety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Must be able to coordinate and manage multiple prioritiessimultaneously.
+ Must have strong business and management skills, stronganalytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Must have the ability to work well with others in a timesensitive and team environment, be results oriented and capable of meeting orexceeding deadlines with attention to detail and follow through.
+ Must have the ability to structure/resolve complex problemsby incorporating/balancing multiple relevant factors and grasp mathematicalconcepts.
+ Must have strong analytical skills as well as a strongdegree of proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
+ Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handlingpersonal data.
+ Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
+ Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others,the priority.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency.
+ 5 or more years of work experience in an analytical field
+ Experience leading people
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ 7 or more years of work experience in an analytical field
+ Airlines specific understanding of revenue generation and commercial drivers
+ Experience in pricing and/or inventory market management
+ Familiarity with key RM data sources
+ Ability to utilize pricing tools and systems such as AirPrice, ATPCO, Zenz and PORT
