**The role will be ideally based in Piscataway, NJ however, a NYC option will be considered** . As the Procurement Director, Commercial Corporate Services, you will be the central architect of our global strategy for sourcing the capabilities that shape how we listen to, understand, and engage with consumers worldwide and provide best in class sourcing decisions across multiple spend categories. In an era of fragmented landscapes and dynamic digital behaviors, your strategic vision and commercial leadership will ensure Colgate-Palmolive's significant investments in critical spend segments deliver a powerful and sustainable competitive advantage.
This position is a centralizing force for strategic cohesion across our diverse business segments, including Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, and Pet Nutrition. You will champion a single strategic approach, breaking down internal silos to design and implement integrated, cross-divisional sourcing strategies. By harmonizing the needs of our global business units, you will leverage our global scale to maximize value while respecting the local cultural nuances that are critical to winning in every market. You will serve as the global subject matter expert, building the frameworks, partnerships, and technology stacks that empower our brands to thrive.
Core Responsibilities: How You Will Commit to Impact

Strategic Sourcing, Leading Teams & Global Negotiation Leadership
+ Develop, own, and execute the comprehensive global sourcing strategy for a multi-hundred-million-dollar spend portfolio encompassing, but not limited to all Media channels (traditional, digital, social, programmatic, etc), Marketing Consumer Insights and other strategic spend categories.
+ Personally lead and execute high-stakes, multi-faceted negotiations with global Media agencies, data providers, technology platforms, and data/market research firms. Your approach will move beyond price-based discussions to secure complex agreements that drive innovation, transparency, and long-term strategic value.
+ Establish and govern a rigorous supplier relationship management (SRM) program, defining clear Key Performance Indicators and performance scorecards to ensure our strategic partners deliver continuous improvement and are held accountable for exceptional results.
+ Managing and leading teams.
Innovation, AI & Technology Integration
+ Serve as the procurement organization's foremost thought leader on the future of critical investments, constantly evaluating emerging technologies, disruptive platforms, and innovative partners.
+ Design and implement the strategic roadmap for integrating Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics into the spend managed lifecycle. This includes leveraging the Company’s AI capabilities for predictive spend analysis, intelligent sourcing, automated contract analysis, and enhanced supplier performance evaluation to drive efficiency and deeper insights.
+ Champion the adoption and mastery of key procurement tools and digital platforms, ensuring the global team is data-driven, digitally fluent, and empowered to make smarter, faster decisions in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Stakeholder Partnership & Cross-Functional Influence
+ Cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with senior leaders in Corporate teams such as Global Digital, Data and Analytics, Global Finance, Global Legal, among others. Ensure procurement strategies are not just aligned with, but are integral to, the achievement of core business objectives.
+ Act as a strategic advisor to internal business partners, providing expert counsel on market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and innovative commercial models to help shape more effective business strategies.
+ Lead complex, cross-functional teams to design and implement high-impact, cross-divisional value creation and cost-saving initiatives. You will be responsible for securing executive buy-in and ensuring seamless execution and adoption across the global organization.
Financial Stewardship & Value Creation
+ Assume full ownership for delivering ambitious annual efficiency and effectiveness targets, including cost savings, cost exposure and enhanced value.
+ Implement sophisticated financial modeling, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses, to ensure all sourcing decisions are grounded in rigorous data and optimized for long-term value.
+ Provide clear, consistent, and accurate reporting on procurement performance, savings pipeline, risk mitigation, and market intelligence to executive leadership, offering the visibility needed for strategic enterprise-level decision-making.
+ Success in this role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise and authentic, values-driven leadership.
Required Qualifications
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
+ **Procurement Expertise** **:** A minimum of 10+ years of progressive strategic sourcing experience with a deep, demonstrated focus on business services spend segments. This includes at least 5 years specializing in the global media, consumer market insights or business services categories within a major CPG or related, fast-paced industry.
+ **Data, Analytics & Digital-Media Fluency** **:** Expert-level understanding of the modern media ecosystem, including programmatic advertising, influencer marketing, retail media networks, advertising agencies and performance marketing metrics.
+ **Negotiation Master** **y:** A proven track record of personally leading complex, multi-million dollar negotiations with sophisticated global suppliers. Articulate and execute strategies that go beyond price, incorporating value-based discussions, creative problem-solving, and strategic relationship management to achieve beneficial outcomes.
+ **Technological & Analytical Acumen:** Demonstrable experience in leveraging procurement technologies and a sophisticated understanding of how to apply AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to drive procurement strategy and execution.
+ **Financial and Commercial Acumen** **:** Strong financial literacy with the ability to build robust business cases, analyze complex supplier pricing and agency compensation models, and confidently negotiate intricate commercial contracts and statements of work.
Preferred Qualifications
+ An MBA or a relevant professional certifications are highly preferred.
+ Experience with person/ remote team management and/or collaboration in a multi-cultural, multi-functional environment.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $185,000.00 - $200,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
