You will be the Quality Engineering Aide for the Missiles & Fire Control \(MFC\) Quality team\. Our team is responsible for ensuring that tooling, processes, and automation solutions meet the high‑performance standards required to deliver reliable defense systems\.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineering Aide you will be responsible for supporting tooling maintenance and automation initiatives that keep our production lines running smoothly\.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Conducting thermal surveys on ovens and performing crimp‑pull testing to verify tooling integrity\.
+ Certifying harness boards and supporting tooling for all production areas\.
+ Assisting automation engineers in installing and validating new inspection tools\.
+ Collecting and documenting data to help improve inspection efficiency and accuracy\.
+ Collaborating with the quality team to troubleshoot and resolve tooling‑related issues\.

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.
Basic Qualifications:
\- High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience in a professional environment
\- Ability to work as a part of a team and on their own
\- Effective Communication/Presentation Skills \(Written, Oral, Listening, Technical Writing\)
\- Effective EQ Skills \(Mindfulness, Team Building, Collaboration\)
\- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications \(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc\.\)
\* Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a U\.S\. Citizen\.
Desired Skills:
\- Circuit Card Assembly and Wire Harness manufacturing, including familiarity with CCA and Wire Harness manufacturing standards such as J\-STD\-001 and IPC\-610/620
\- Knowledge of basic inspection principles
\- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt Training
\- Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment
\- Experience with Automated Process Monitoring and Control
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
