As a **Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver** in **Houston, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major retail location, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to support a positive environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any irregularities.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and maintaining a visible presence.

+ Support loss prevention efforts by being alert to potential theft or suspicious behavior.

+ Collaborate with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns and provide guidance as appropriate.

+ Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
