What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons and responding to inquiries while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential incidents and observe for unusual activity.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with emergency services if required.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
