Our client, a leading organization in the technology and support services sector, is seeking a Senior Platform/DevOps Production Support Engineer- Plano, TX to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Platform/DevOps Production Support Engineer

What's the Job?

+ Provide end-to-end support of production applications, ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

+ Conduct in-depth problem analysis of applications, troubleshoot system errors, and resolve performance issues.

+ Perform proactive application stability analysis to identify and address performance concerns, system errors, and opportunities for improvement.

+ Lead root cause analysis of chronic issues and implement effective remediation strategies.

+ Collaborate with Engineering, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams to implement fixes, code updates, configuration changes, and enhancements in production environments.

What's Needed?

+ 7+ years of experience in production support or a similar role, preferably within a CICD platform environment.

+ Hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, JFROG Artifactory, XLRelease, Cloudbees Jenkins, Bitbucket, or similar version control tools.

+ Strong expertise in Unix systems, artifact repositories, dependency management, and vulnerability scanning.

+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation purposes.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
