    We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Maintenance Custodian to join the facilities team for our client, a **community-focused Christian organization** . In this role, you will perform routine maintenance, address minor repairs, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all who use our facility. The ideal candidate is proactive, self‑motivated, and committed to supporting a high standard of facility care.

     

    **Job Title:** Maintenance Custodian

    **Location:** Durham, NC

     

    Pay Range: $17/hour

     

    Shift: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday with occasional weekends

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.

    + Inspect the facility daily for maintenance needs and safety concerns.

    + Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.

    + Support the overall safety and readiness of the building.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 1–3 years of maintenance or custodial experience.

    + Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, and general repair.

    + Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

    + Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments

    + A commitment to safety, quality, and reliability.
