As a **Security Officer - Warehouse Entry Screener** in **Indianapolis, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated logistics and distribution areas. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a secure environment, and interact with individuals to provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Screen individuals, packages, and/or materials entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established protocols.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and maintaining logs as required by site procedures.

+ Communicate and collaborate with team members and site management to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.

+ Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or irregularities according to company and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ X ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
