Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a Payment Posting Specialist to join their team. As a Payment Posting Specialist, you will be part of the Revenue Cycle Management Department supporting the finance and billing teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Payment Posting Specialist

**Location:** El Monte, CA

**Pay Range:** $21-$25/hr.

**Shift:** 8 am - 5 pm

**Duration:** 3 months with possible extension

What's the Job?

+ Pull payments from the bank and transfer them to internal records.

+ Categorize payments by type to ensure proper posting workflow for each payment.

+ Match payments to open invoices and resolve discrepancies.

+ Match insurance EOBs to bank payments and break down large volume of insurance payments to the patient test level.

+ Create price lists, perform credit analysis, and troubleshoot unapplied cash issues.

What's Needed?

+ Minimum of a high school diploma; preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

+ At least 2 years of payment posting experience, including payments from both customers and insurance companies.

+ Work experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of HIPAA compliance.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

+ Familiarity with accounting software such as Netsuite and revenue cycle management software like Quadax.
