WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will collaborate with Nike’s North America Geography, including the North America leadership team, strategy teammates, and cross-functional partners who help shape the future of sport in North America.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a proven strategy leader to work with leadership in the North America geography to develop and execute Nike’s long-term strategy, identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities, and catalyze action against these priorities through business planning processes.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Applied Science, or a related field.Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
+ 9–10+ years of directly relevant work experience, e.g.: corporate/business-unit strategy, management consulting, corporate development, strategic planning, or working in the retail/sport industry for a premier company.
Preferred Requirements
+ Strong understanding of sport footwear/apparel, marketing, merchandising, retail, and the North America marketplace/competitive landscape.
+ Demonstrated success leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
+ Strong analytical skills and comfort with retail data, modeling, and forecasting.
+ Experience developing and implementing strategic processes or frameworks.
+ Excellent communication, facilitation, and change leadership skills.
+ Experience managing multiple products, portfolios, or initiatives, and operating in a role that requires balancing diverse stakeholder needs and delivering tailored solutions.
+ Strong storytelling ability through both written and verbal communication, as well as presentation-building and presenting skills.
+ Master of Business Administration or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the North America Strategy Director, you will help lead the strategic planning process, author strategic plans, and serve as a critical thought partner to senior and executive leaders to explore complex business issues. In addition, you will independently lead cross-functional teams and be aligned to the projects below:
+ **Build Integrated Growth Plans:** Drive integrated actions to win with athletes and deliver profitable growth. Help leaders solve their most pressing strategic questions via long-term growth plans. Complete rigorous strategic analysis and synthesize insights into compelling presentations.
+ **Develop Future Strategies:** Create the path for Nike’s future. Develop frameworks, analysis, and critical thinking to drive Nike’s largest growth opportunities. Scope the work, define workstreams, and serve as the overall project quarterback.
+ **Assess Impact:** Diagnose results aligned to the plan and prioritize future actions. Support senior leaders in communicating strategies across the broader organization and develop KPIs to measure success.
