    **Starting pay** : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour pending experience.

    **Schedule** : 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.

    **Summary** : looking for serious individuals that are mechanically inclined. Will be wiring newly manufactured ice-cream machines ( no live wires ), must have attention to detail. Ideal to be able to read schematics but not required.Install casters, compressors, water condensers or air condensers, cylinders, hoppers, receiver tanks, water valves, and any other part required per machine.

    **Job Overview** The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling equipment according to defined assembly stages, work instructions, and quality standards. This position follows structured processes to ensure correct component installation, wiring, brazing (where applicable), and functional readiness of units before testing. The Assembly Technician is responsible for maintaining production flow, accuracy of components used, and adherence to safety and quality expectations.

    Role and Responsibilities** **Equipment Assembly

    + Perform mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration sub-assembly steps according to work instructions.

    + Ensure accurate installation of components, hardware, wiring, tubing, and refrigeration lines.

    + Follow specifications, diagrams, and blueprints as required.

    + Communicate to Production Manager or Production Coordinator of missing components, non-conformance, and discrepancies.

    Quality and Process Compliance

    + Complete checklists to ensure quality.

    + Follow quality expectations and maintain an organized work area.

    Safety and Work Environment

    + Adhere to all safety standards including PPE, and handling protocols when applicable.

    + Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

    + Immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.

    Collaboration and Improvement Support

    + Participate in cross-training across assembly stages to increase team flexibility.

    + Share process feedback and improvement ideas with Production Manager.

    Educational / Computer / Work Experience Requirements

    + General mechanical understanding and willingness to develop technical skills.

    + The ability to learn assembly tasks quickly.

    + Ability to follow hands-on instructions.

    + Ability to stand for long periods of time.

    + Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude required.

    + Ability to read diagrams and follow detailed work instructions.

    Preferred Skills and Abilities

    + 1–2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.

    + Refrigeration or HVAC exposure is a plus. Type 1 EPA preferred.
