    Adecco is currently hiring Loss Prevention and Safety Associates for our premier client in Shafter, CA. The Loss Prevention and Safety Associate (LP) is responsible for ensuring the safety of associates and the security of company assets. The LP associate role is designed for candidates who are interested in starting a career as they are long term!

    As a Loss Prevention and Safety Associate (LPA), job duties will include but are not limited to:

    Greet visitors and staff, conducting required safety protocols

     

    Maintain physical security and control of the entire site in accordance with policies

     

    Manage access control at facility entry points and enforce company policies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

     

    Conduct safety audits, identify concerns, and communicate deficiencies

     

    Monitor for hazards

     

    Respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and effectively communicate findings with appropriate stakeholders

     

    Support theft prevention efforts

     

    Utilize and maintain access control systems, CCTV, and two-way radio communication.

     

    Draft and send correspondence through various channels

     

    Perform assigned duties during emergency situations and interface with Police and Fire officials as directed

    Qualifications and Requirements:?

     

    High School Diploma or GED Required; College Degree Preferred.

     

    Able to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays

     

    Computer skills required: Microsoft Office products, Smartsheet, Instant Messaging, Email, and the ability to learn proprietary software

     

    Effective communication and customer service skills to work with a variety of visitors, contractors, client leadership, and staff

     

    Proficiency and ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing

     

    Well-developed interpersonal skills that include the ability to diffuse and resolve conflict

     

    Ability to work independently to complete assignments and tasks to meet deadlines

     

    This position requires the ability to exercise sound judgment, uphold integrity and confidentiality, analyze and evaluate situations and data accurately, and comply with safety regulations and protocols.

    Schedules:

    Our LPA team works on a rotating schedule, including holidays and weekends.

     

    Team members may be asked to work alternative shift times to ensure appropriate coverage of the facility sites.

     

    We have immediate opportunities on 2nd shift 2:30pm-11:00pm

    **Pay Details:** $20.92 per hour
