American Water is currently seeking a Sr. Technician, WQ & Environmental Compliance to work out of our Alexandria VA office location. In this role you will be responsible for collecting samples, performing routine water quality analysis and data entry and recordkeeping. You will also review and respond to complaints and inquiries. _*Primary Role*_ The Sr Technician, Water Quality & Environmental Compliance, responsible for collecting samples from the treatment plant or distribution system, performing routine water quality analyses, sample custody, data entry and recordkeeping. Interpret water quality results and drive optimization in the treatment process for water and/or wastewater systems. Working with operations staff, collect, evaluate and prepare compliance reporting for operational data required for compliance submissions to regulators.
