Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Feed Mill Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating feed mill machinery, mixing equipment, and running pallet mill machinery. You will also maintain and clean equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition, and handle heavy mix bags weighing up to 50+ lbs. Consistent operation of a sit-down forklift to transport products is also required.

Responsibilities

+ Operate feed mill machinery and mixing equipment.

+ Maintain and clean equipment to ensure proper functioning.

+ Run pallet mill machinery efficiently.

+ Handle and move heavy mix bags (up to 50+ lbs).

+ Operate a sit-down forklift to move products to and from machines.

Essential Skills

+ Experience as a machine operator in an agricultural environment.

+ Proficiency in forklift operation.

+ Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50+ lbs.

+ Experience with milling machines and production processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in an agricultural facility.

+ Physical work capabilities.

+ Preferred experience with driving dump trucks or heavy-duty trucks.

Work Environment

Work the 2nd shift from 1:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 50 hours a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dunkerton, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
