Job Title: Stand Up Forklift Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Stand Up Forklift Operator experienced in driving Combilift forklifts. This role involves working Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, preparing steel beams and flats for the second shift to load onto trucks. The operator will be responsible for efficiently running down aisles, grabbing orders, and placing them in the staging area.

Responsibilities

+ Operate Combilift forklifts to transport steel beams and flats.

+ Prepare materials for the second shift by staging orders.

+ Navigate aisles to retrieve and place orders in designated areas.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Essential Skills

+ Prior forklift experience, particularly with Combilift, Hubtex, or Raymond forklifts.

+ Experience in a Steel Yard or Lumber Yard environment is beneficial.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with material handling and order picking.

+ Familiarity with stand-up forklifts and reach trucks.

Work Environment

This role is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with a team of 30. It requires the use of steel-toed boots and ear protection. The working schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
