Job Title: Panel Assembly
Job Description
Join our team in the Panel Shop where you will be responsible for assembling railroad tracks. This is a first-shift position, operating from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The role requires teamwork and strong experience in construction, foundry, or steel industries.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble railroad tracks according to blueprints.
+ Read and interpret measurements accurately to 1/32 inch.
+ Utilize mechanical aptitude to ensure proper assembly.
+ Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Ability to read precise measurements.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience in assembly, machine operation, fabrication, or construction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Welding experience is advantageous.
+ Experience in labor-intensive roles is preferred.

Work Environment
Work in an open-air warehouse with exposure to elements similar to the outside weather. The environment involves physical labor, cold winters, hot summers, and a dirty setting. Safety is paramount with large moving steel pieces; therefore, awareness of surroundings is crucial. Steel-toed boots with metatarsal covers are required and will be provided. Jewelry should not be worn due to machinery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
