Job Title: General Laborer - IND2** **Job Description
As a General Laborer in a large distribution center, you will primarily assist the installation team by spotting and flagging them while on scissor lifts. You will serve as an extra pair of hands to help complete various tasks, including the removal of plastics, cardboard, and additional waste. Your responsibilities will include using power tools, operating a broom, running materials up the elevator using a pallet jack, and supporting project teams with commissioning, cleaning the warehouse, and facilitating camera installations.
Responsibilities
+ Assist installation team by spotting and flagging them on scissor lifts.
+ Remove plastics, cardboard, and additional waste.
+ Utilize power tools and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.
+ Operate pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalogue materials.
+ Support project teams with cleaning the warehouse and facilitating camera installations.
+ Handle materials, perform general labor, and engage in moderate to heavy lifting.
+ Participate in construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning activities.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to lift 40-50lbs consistently.
+ Experience working 8-hour shifts on hard cement floors.
+ Good attendance and ability to take direction.
+ Willingness to work in multiple positions, from inventory to housekeeping.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in material handling and robotics.
+ General labor and construction experience.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a distribution center, which can be messy and loud at times, with some areas being crowded. A high level of visibility is required, so maintaining a presentable and professional appearance is essential. The attire includes PPE such as a high visibility vest, glasses, hard hat, gloves, earplugs, and composite toe shoes/boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but loose, baggy clothing should be avoided.

This is a Contract position based out of Plainfield, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
