Job Title: CNC Punch Press Operator** **Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Punch Press Operator with at least 2 years of experience in operating CNC Punch Press machines. This role requires a candidate who is proficient in reading blueprints, understands safety protocols, and is capable of performing precise machining operations.
Responsibilities
+ Operate CNC Punch Press machines safely and efficiently.
+ Utilize safety equipment appropriately in a machining environment.
+ Charge time accurately to specific work orders and manage payroll system entries.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for precise machining tasks.
+ Operate powered hand tools and maintain machine and area cleanliness.
+ Perform overhead crane operations.
+ Understand and execute 'G' code programming.
+ Use sensitive measurement equipment for accurate readings.
+ Locate, transfer, and execute programs for specific machining jobs.
+ Load and position parts correctly for program execution.
+ Shim punch and dies as necessary for accurate results.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Turret Punch Press Operator.
+ Proficiency in using protractors and reading blueprints.
+ Ability to perform setups and edit programs.
+ Understanding of G codes and ability to read sensitive measurement equipment.
+ Capability to deburr punched parts.
+ Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Amada Punch Press.
+ Familiarity with CNC Turret Punch Press, shear press, and CNC brake press operations.
+ Great attention to detail and precision in work.

Work Environment
The facility is located in West Dallas and specializes in manufacturing large HVAC Industrial Systems. The environment is non-climate controlled, requiring adaptability and resilience. Work hours are from 5:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
