Job Description

Join a rapidly growing, family-owned company in Marion, OH as a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator. We are seeking a candidate with a few years of experience in the machining industry who can efficiently set up, run, and tear down machines using blueprints. This position requires expertise in operating CNC machines and interpreting blueprints to ensure precision in machining tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Set up, operate, and tear down CNC machines efficiently.

+ Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, and layouts.

+ Perform CNC press brake set-ups and changeovers.

+ Operate and maintain CNC lathe and mill equipment using HAAS and Mazak controls.

+ Program at the machine or computer, running various parts, and manage multiple machines simultaneously.

+ Ensure tight tolerances of .05 are consistently met.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with press brakes and CNC controls.

+ Proficiency in CNC lathe operations.

+ Ability to perform tear downs, set-ups, and changeovers in a job shop environment.

+ Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing.

+ Strong understanding of blueprints, diagrams, and layouts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with HAAS machines is a plus.

+ Trade school certification is advantageous.

+ Experience with CNC punch press and press brake is beneficial.

+ Programming skills in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and GibbsCAM are desirable.

Work Environment

Work in a job shop environment primarily serving the automotive industry, along with other sectors. The machine room is climate-controlled to ensure equipment stability. Collaborate with other machinists in a fast-paced, yet easy-going atmosphere. First shift runs Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional Saturday hours as needed. Dress code includes jeans, shirt, and steel-toed boots, with uniforms provided upon direct hire.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00/hr.
