Temporary Assignment for Concrete Labor/Clean Up - 1st Shift - $20 hour - Mahanoy City, PA

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Concrete Plant Laborers. You will play a crucial role in the production and finishing of concrete panels, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the process.

Responsibilities

+ Work in the plant to pour, cast, and finish concrete panels.

+ Strip concrete once it has cured.

+ Clean the forms once the concrete is cured and moved to the yard.

Essential Skills

+ Prior experience in concrete, manual labor, or landscaping.

+ Ability to lift 75+ lbs when needed.

+ Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours.

+ Physical capability to lift, bend, and climb repeatedly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Yard Jockey experience is preferred.

+ Prior pouring experience is preferred.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted outside in a yard where completed panels are stored before shipment. Be prepared to work in the elements, as the location is on a mountain where temperatures are often colder and wind can be strong. The role involves working in teams of about 20 in departments such as Wide-Bed and Rolling Bed. Shifts are from 6 am to completion (up to 6 pm) or 6 pm to completion (up to 6 am), with work every other or every third weekend. Expect to work between 50-60 hours weekly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
