    Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description

     

    Perform work on a production line, running equipment, inspecting, stacking, separating, counting, and packing products. Conduct quality checks and accurately record information. Monitor machinery and equipment operation to ensure all products meet performance specifications and requirements.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Skills

    + 6 months to 1 year of production experience.

    + Ability to ascend/descend stairs/ladders to access machines, catwalks, and climb over machinery/line.

    + Keep up with machine production rates.

    + Willingness to work hard and learn new skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Entry-level position (0 to 2 years’ experience).

    + Ability to work in a loud manufacturing and production environment with exposure to high/precarious places, moving machinery, marked changes in temperature and humidity, dust, odors, and fumes.

    Work Environment

    Work indoors in a manufacturing and production environment with about 90 people on each shift. Expected to wear shorts or jeans, a clean work shirt, and steel toe (or composite) shoes. Shifts include A/B (6:45am-6:45pm), C/D (6:45pm-6:45am), Days (6:30am-3pm Mon-Fri), Nights (10:30pm-7am Sun-Thurs), and Mids (2:30pm-11pm Mon-Fri). Shift differentials apply.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.25/hr.
