Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description

Join a dynamic production company in Ramsey, MN, as a Mechanical Assembler. Our team is dedicated to manufacturing high-quality workout and gym equipment, including ellipticals, weight racks, and tension weight machines. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, prepping sub-assemblies, and moving completed units across 32 different machine models.

Responsibilities

+ Complete assembly of various models of machines following established procedures.

+ Move machines as required.

+ Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork.

+ Use a manual and electric pallet jack.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical assembly and use of tools.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.

+ Ability to bend, twist, or turn repeatedly throughout the shift.

+ At least 6 months of previous working experience.

+ Preferably 6 months of previous assembly or manufacturing experience.

+ Able to work with power tools or hand tools.

+ Mechanically inclined.

+ Good work history, even if not in manufacturing.

+ Ability to operate small air, hand, and electric tools.

+ Ability to read work instructions and drawings.

+ Effective communication skills.

+ Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

+ Good memorization skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a team-oriented environment.

+ Versatility in training across multiple assembly lines.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
