Job Title: Processor

Job Description

Join our team as a Processor where you will play a crucial role in our production process by managing raw materials and ensuring product quality. You will work with a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the production of high-quality food products.

Responsibilities

+ Physically load raw materials such as spices, sugars, and seasonings into machines.

+ Keep detailed logs, both paper and electronic, of materials fed into machines.

+ Operate machinery to ensure products run for the correct duration.

+ Perform quality checks on products as they exit machines and are fed into containers.

+ Mix finished products, maintaining the highest quality standards.

+ Prepare products according to established formulas, monitoring production needs.

+ Set up decks for daily production schedules, operating equipment to aid in processing formulas.

+ Use the local control panel to manage the addition of metered and manually added ingredients and transfer batches.

+ Lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in food manufacturing, food processing, or as a processing machine operator.

+ Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards.

+ Ability to perform quality control checks.

+ Capability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures in English.

+ Math skills to verify ingredient quantities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Related experience in food processing is preferred but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.81 - $22.81/hr.
