Job Description
This is a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician position with working hours from 11 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday, with possible weekend shifts. New hires will be on 8-hour shifts. The position involves performing various mechanical repairs on Plastic Injection presses and assembly equipment. This is a very clean environment for a plastics shop, all the material is run underground, keeping the floor tidy. There is ALWAYS opportunity for overtime, this role is very fast paced and give you the opportunity to expand your skill in a short period of time.
+ Conduct mechanical repairs including laser sensors, cylinders, pneumatic valves, hot plate welders, light curtains, proximity sensors, heater probes, pin stamps, pressure switches, bowl feeders, and air compressors ranging from 100-150 horsepower.
+ Work on Fanuc robots and press top robots, which include SEPRO, RANGER, AUTOMATED ASSEMBLIES, and AEC equipment.
+ Troubleshoot robots and perform minor edits if comfortable.
+ Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC controllers by hooking up and viewing programs to analyze machine sequences.
+ Focus on load cells, intelligent actuators, troubleshooting vision systems, automated screw guns, bowl feeding/blow feeding, variable frequency drives, laser printers, and wiring.

+ Must have 8 years of experience working on automated equipment.
+ 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
+ PLC troubleshooting skills to identify necessary fixes by the controls engineer.
+ 5 years of experience in process verification on plastic injection cells.
+ 2 years of maintenance experience in a plastic injection facility is a plus.

Work Environment
The facility is a clean tier 2 automotive supplier with underground material handling to maintain orderliness. The assembly is located at the front and right of the facility, while the plastic injection operations are at the back. The company is transitioning towards more vision systems and upgrading to more robotic equipment.3rd

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
