    Aerotek is hiring for an HVAC Helper with WEEKLY pay!

    Job Description

    This is an entry-level HVAC role suitable for individuals with 1-2 years of experience. As an installation professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of HVAC system installations. You will be working in teams of 2-8 people on commercial projects, which may include multi-story units, apartment complexes, restaurants, gyms, and other retail locations. Power tools will be provided, but you must have your own hand tools. The company will also supply vests and t-shirts. Projects are located in and around Pittsburgh, and contractors can report directly to the job site with start times ranging from 6 to 7 a.m.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the installation of HVAC systems on various commercial projects.

    + Ensure quality and efficiency in installations.

    + Collaborate with team members on-site to complete projects successfully.

    + Utilize provided power tools and personal hand tools for installations.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-2 years of experience in HVAC installation.

    + Ability to work in a team setting on commercial projects.

    + Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and installation techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Lead Installer on Commercial Projects.

    + Strong leadership skills.

    + Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Highly organized with good communication skills.

    + Ability to read and break down ductwork and piping blueprints.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    Work Environment

     

    You will be working on commercial job sites around Pittsburgh, reporting directly to the job site. The work environment is collaborative, involving teamwork with crews of 2-8 people. The company provides power tools, vests, and t-shirts, and you are expected to bring your own hand tools.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakland, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
