Job Title: Material Handler | Pay: $20.70/hr | Location: De Soto, Kansas

**Shift:** 12‑hour rotational shifts

Shift Times:

+ **Day Shift:** 6:45 AM – 7:30 PM

+ **Night Shift:** 6:45 PM – 7:30 AM

Rotational Shift Options (3 Total)

This role follows a rotating 2‑week schedule with three possible shift patterns:

Option B – Nights

+ **Week 1:** Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

+ **Week 2:** Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Option C – Days

+ **Week 1:** Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

+ **Week 2:** Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Option D – Nights

+ **Week 1:** Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

+ **Week 2:** Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

**Breaks:** Three 15‑minute paid breaks + one 45‑minute unpaid lunch.

Job Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility. This includes loading and unloading trucks, operating walkie riders and pallet jacks, and ensuring all materials are handled according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

+ Load and unload trucks using walkie riders and pallet jacks.

+ Review order sheets to estimate workload and plan tasks.

+ Perform daily inspections of incoming raw materials.

+ Complete routine equipment checks, including cleaning and fluid levels.

+ Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and walkies.

+ Communicate clearly with coworkers, both verbally and in writing.

+ Support ongoing process improvements to align with industry standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $20.70/hr.
