Hiring Blasters

The Blaster operates abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare parts for painting, coating, or further production. This role focuses on removing contaminants, achieving required surface finishes, and maintaining safety, quality, and equipment standards within the White Tower production area.

**Pay:** $20/hr

Shifts Available:

+ **A & B Shift:** 2‑3‑2 schedule, **6:00 AM – 6:30 PM**

+ **C Shift:** Monday–Thursday, **6:00 PM – 6:30 AM** (Friday overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, scale, and other contaminants.

+ Prepare surfaces to meet required finish and cleanliness specifications.

+ Set up and adjust blasting machines for proper pressure, nozzle size, and abrasive flow.

+ Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.

+ Inspect blasted parts and report defects or inconsistencies.

+ Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE.

+ Maintain proper ventilation and dust collection during blasting.

+ Keep the work area clean and free of debris.

+ Coordinate with team members to maintain efficient workflow.

Required Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Previous experience in industrial blasting or a similar manufacturing/production role.

+ Knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques, equipment operation, and surface preparation standards.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, work instructions, and production documentation.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
