Job Title: Cook Coordinator** **Job Description

The Cook Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting meal preparation, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This position involves working directly with the lead cook and coordinating with food banks for surplus food management.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with meal preparation and ensure food storage areas are clean and properly arranged.

+ Inventory and store incoming food and supplies, lifting and moving stock as necessary.

+ Help schedule the cooking team and communicate schedules effectively.

+ Work directly with food banks to manage leftover food.

+ Order products for inventory and document any inventory issues using a computer.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in cooking, line cooking, and food preparation.

+ Experience with dishwashing and cleaning tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.

+ Comfortable lifting ingredients weighing up to 30 lbs.

Work Environment

The position will primarily be based at the Tigard facility, with potential time spent at the Gresham facility. The role involves a dynamic kitchen environment, requiring the ability to adapt to different tasks and collaborate with team members.

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
