    Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description

     

    In this role, candidates will serve as floaters, tasked with loading materials onto the production line and stacking material as it comes off. Responsibilities include performing visual quality inspections, cutting tiles to size, and stacking/palletizing finished tiles. Most tiles weigh around 2 pounds, but some may be heavier. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds independently, with team lifts for anything heavier.

    Responsibilities

    + Load materials onto the production line.

    + Stack materials as they come off the line.

    + Conduct visual quality inspections of products.

    + Cut tiles to the required sizes.

    + Stack and palletize finished tiles.

    + Lift up to 50 pounds independently, with team lifts for heavier items.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of machine operation or production line experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Experience with assembly, production, and machine operation.

    + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

    + Material handling and forklift operation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in visual quality inspection.

    + Packing and palletizing experience.

    Work Environment

    Work in a clean environment, though not climate controlled, which can be warm in summer. Handle fiberglass, which might be sensitive to some, but PPE is provided to cover arms and neck. Gloves, earplugs, and safety glasses are supplied. Shifts include: 1st Shift 5am-1pm M-Th, with OT until 3pm; 2nd Shift 2:50pm-12:50am M-Th, with Friday OT; 3rd Shift 9pm-7am.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
