Job Title: CNC Brake Press Operator** **Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Brake Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating and independently setting up Acupress Vision Control CNC Machine Brake Press equipment. This role primarily involves operating the press brake, but also includes responsibilities in other areas of the shop to ensure overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and independently set up the CNC press brake.
+ Organize the plate shop to maintain efficiency and order.
+ Assist in various areas of the shop as needed based on demand.
+ Utilize overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials around the shop.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with CNC Brake Press operations.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Proficiency in using overhead cranes and forklifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience as a Laser Operator.
+ Familiarity with brake press machines and machine programming.

Work Environment
Work the first shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There is also the potential to work four 10-hour days from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The shop is a smaller, tight-knit environment with around 60 employees, offering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mackinaw, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
