Now Hiring: Manual Machinist – Prototype Shop (Non‑Repetitive, Precision Work)

We specialize in crafting precision rubber rollers for a wide range of machines, and we’re looking for a Manual Machinist who enjoys critical thinking, craftsmanship, and variety in their work.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a **low‑volume, high‑precision** environment and even set up one of the few CNC lathes in our shop.

What You’ll Do

+ Fabricate custom rubber rollers to exact specifications using manual machining techniques

+ Set up and operate CNC lathes when needed

+ Apply critical thinking to solve unique fabrication challenges

+ Maintain exceptional attention to detail to ensure top‑quality production

+ Collaborate with team members and support other areas of the shop as needed

What You Bring

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills

+ Proficiency with manual micrometers

+ Solid math skills

+ Experience with machine operation and blueprint reading

+ Clear written and verbal communication abilities

Additional Skills and Qualifications

+ GED or high school diploma

+ Eagerness to learn and a self‑motivated attitude

+ Computer aptitude (Epicor experience is a plus)

+ Experience in machining, manufacturing, or military service

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
