Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Production Supervisor who will oversee the evening production team. This role involves managing a small team, with potential growth in the near future. You will work closely with the Plant Manager to ensure effective operations and maintain high product quality.

Responsibilities

+ Directly supervise assigned employees, currently five on the second shift, with potential growth.

+ Collaborate with the Plant Manager on interviewing, hiring, and training employees.

+ Plan, assign, and direct work while setting and communicating clear expectations for employees.

+ Monitor employee performance and implement necessary training programs.

+ Monitor and maintain product quality standards.

+ Develop and execute nightly plans in collaboration with the Plant Manager.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years of production or plant supervising experience.

+ Production supervision and management skills.

+ Basic math skills and mechanical inclination.

+ Strong supervisory and management abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Assembly and production safety knowledge.

+ Experience in hiring and supervision.

+ Mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities are advantageous.

Work Environment

The 2nd shift operates Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with occasional Fridays and Saturdays for overtime. The work environment is a clean production area that can become warm during the summer and somewhat dusty due to wood product processing. The dress code allows for casual attire, such as jeans, and requires leather lace-up shoes instead of steel-toed shoes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Oregon, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
