    Industrial Painter

    **Pay:** $20/hr

    **Location:** Pueblo, CO

    **Schedule:** 12‑hour shifts, 2‑3‑2 rotating schedule

    + 7:00 AM–7:30 PM **or** 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

     

    We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our production team in Pueblo, CO. This role is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing parts and products within the White Tower production area. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial coatings, spray systems, and surface preparation, and takes pride in producing high‑quality, consistent finishes.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Apply industrial coatings using spray guns, paint booths, or other approved methods.

    + Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, or other prep techniques to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.

    + Mix, thin, and adjust paints or coatings according to technical specifications and work instructions.

    + Set up and operate painting equipment, ensuring proper pressure, spray patterns, and material flow.

    + Inspect painted surfaces to verify coverage, color match, thickness, and finish quality.

    + Identify defects such as runs, sags, contamination, or improper adhesion and report issues to supervision.

    + Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of spray guns, paint booths, and related equipment.

    + Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE such as respirators, gloves, and protective suits.

    + Ensure proper ventilation and overspray control systems are functioning during painting operations.

    + Maintain a clean, organized work area by removing overspray, debris, and unused materials.

    + Communicate effectively with production team members to support workflow and part movement.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Experience in industrial painting or a similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.

    + Knowledge of spray‑painting techniques, equipment operation, and surface‑prep standards.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and work instructions.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality finishes.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
