Job Title: Solar Site Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Solar Site Superintendent to oversee a high-impact commercial solar installation near Pflugerville, Texas, . This role demands a proactive leader with strong rooftop/carport solar experience, interconnection knowledge, and a sharp eye for safety and scheduling. You will be the on-site point person ensuring smooth operations, safety compliance, and effective coordination between all subcontractors and owners.

Responsibilities

+ Ensure daily on-site presence to manage operations and ensure safety protocols are OSHA-compliant.

+ Conduct and enforce daily safety briefings.

+ Coordinate with site host and subcontractors for deliveries, crane scheduling, and material handling.

+ Maintain site cleanliness and operational safety.

+ Schedule and lead coordination meetings with foresight and urgency.

+ Report progress and issues upstream to customers and downstream to subcontractors.

+ Use Procore (transitioning to another platform) for documentation and reporting.

+ Ensure timely execution of interconnection work and shutdowns.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience managing rooftop solar installations.

+ Strong understanding of inverters and interconnection points.

+ Comfortable with construction tech platforms such as Procore.

+ Ability to manage fast-paced schedules and tight deadlines.

+ OSHA 30 Certification (preferred).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in managing subcontractors in construction management.

+ Electrical knowledge, particularly with PV and megawatts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pflugerville, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $62.00/hr.
