    Job Title: Material Coordinator** **Job Description

     

    The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing materials in the plant and maintaining the integrity of inventory records in the ERP system for the Calex site of MPS. This role also involves tactical purchasing of assigned production materials for the Calex site and managing all MRO purchasing for multiple sites in North America.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage materials and maintain inventory integrity in the ERP system.

    + Conduct tactical purchasing of assigned production materials.

    + Handle all MRO purchasing for multiple sites in North America.

    + Collaborate with cross-related departments to ensure organizational efficiency.

    + Perform cycle counts and inventory management tasks.

    + Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems effectively.

    + Ensure proper labeling and shipping of materials.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in warehouse management and computer skills.

    + Experience in inventory control and management.

    + Skilled in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.

    + Ability to perform cycle counts and manage inventory.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Demonstrates adaptability to changing conditions and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Capability to work collaboratively with others.

    Work Environment

    Work in a manufacturing environment with multiple stations. The environment is family-like, though it has recently become publicly owned by Merada. The role involves conducting inventory on the floor for most of the day and working on a computer at the end of the day. Temperature conditions vary with the weather.

    This is a Contract position based out of Concord, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.25 - $23.25/hr.
