    Job Title: Maintenance Technician Lead** **Job Description

     

    This position involves performing essential maintenance tasks at an apartment community in Tigard. You will lead a team to ensure the residential building is maintained to high standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Work in alignment with the company's values-based culture.

    + Perform maintenance, including basic plumbing repairs, basic electrical repairs, painting, carpentry, and lifting up to 100 lbs.

    + Monitor common areas for cleanliness and quality, and maintain grounds free of trash as part of a team effort.

    + Keep maintenance areas organized and neat.

    + Engage in professional interactions with residents.

    + Manage time effectively, schedule, and prioritize tasks.

    + Perform work at other properties and adapt to a changing work schedule.

    + Provide after-hours maintenance coverage and respond to emergency calls.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least 2 years of property maintenance experience

    + At least 1 year experience with basic plumbing and painting

    + At least 1 year experience with appliance repair, motor maintenance, and HVAC systems

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Valid Driver’s License

    + Ability to understand and comply with Fair Housing laws and related regulations

    + Strong organizational and communication skills

    + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    + Must be able to pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screen

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
