Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Laborer to join our team in a contract role to build outdoor living products using concrete blocks and other materials in a manufacturing setting. The role involves performing various tasks including visual quality inspections of blocks in a production setting, consistently moving materials, and engaging in bending and twisting activities.

Responsibilities

+ Read job specifications to determine material requirements.

+ Conduct quality inspection of products as they cross the production line.

+ Perform fabrication techniques such as cutting, gluing, grinding, and leveling materials.

+ Utilize tape measure to make precise cuts for accuracy.

+ Perform minor machine maintenance, with larger issues being handled by a maintenance technician.

Essential Skills

+ General labor experience.

+ Ability to perform heavy lifting.

+ Proficiency with a tape measure.

+ Experience in construction, masonry, or demolition.

+ Familiarity with hand tools and heavy equipment operation.

+ Basic math skills are required.

+ Comfortable working in a loud, non-climate controlled environment.

+ Capability to lift concrete products and machine parts weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

This role operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of working on Fridays twice a month. The work environment is a dusty, dirty, and loud production setting where stone pavers and landscaping blocks are manufactured. Candidates will be expected to work in this dynamic environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
