Job Title: Shipping Handler** **Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping Handler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our shipping operations, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

+ Carry out the shipping process according to work instructions and parameter sheets.

+ Operate tow motors to move finished products from the warehouse to the shipping dock.

+ Unload trucks and railcars, placing products in respective areas.

+ Load trucks and railcars efficiently.

+ Record and report data as required.

+ Process necessary paperwork needed for customer shipments.

+ Notify appropriate personnel of received materials.

+ Follow the F.I.F.O. (First In, First Out) process.

+ Maintain the warehouse in an organized manner.

+ Notify the appropriate personnel of safety and quality issues.

+ Perform other duties as requested in accordance with contractual provisions.

Essential Skills

+ Manufacturing or Industrial experience.

+ Forklift experience within the last 2 years.

+ Ability to train on days for orientation before moving to shift work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a hot work environment, such as glass, textile, or automotive factories.

+ Injection molding or plastics experience.

Work Environment

Our facility is a large Tier 1 automotive client, operating in a hot factory environment. Temperatures can exceed 100 degrees inside when it is 90 degrees outside. Candidates will attend orientation on the first shift for the entire week. We have two first-shift shipping openings, each with two breaks and a lunch period. Overtime work may be required, and after 90 days, employees are eligible to join the union.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH BALTIMORE, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.21 - $18.21/hr.
