Job Title: Forklift Driver
Job Description
Join our team as a Forklift Driver in our Distribution Center. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift nearly 90% of the day to load and unload trucks. This position is crucial to maintaining the flow of goods within our facility.
Responsibilities
+ Operate a forklift for the majority of your shift to load and unload trucks.
+ Perform quality control on orders when not operating the forklift.
+ Receive products and organize them in the warehouse.
+ Consolidate pallets to optimize storage space.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
+ 2-5 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift, whether electric or gas.
+ Experience with printing shipping labels through UPS, FedEx, or similar software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is located in North Chicago, featuring a facility equipped with brand new equipment. Employees will not handle chemicals directly, but will transport sealed drums. The second shift hours are Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, and Friday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm.

This is a Permanent position based out of North Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
