Job Title: Tool Room Attendant

Job Description

As a Tool Room Attendant, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, setting up, and issuing cutting tools, hand tools, and fixtures in a machine shop. You will maintain inventory levels within the computer system and set up tools based on tool lists and setup sheets. You will also issue tools and provide assistance to machinists as needed, create job boxes for new jobs, label fixtures, and update computer files. Additionally, you will inspect and measure tools for defects and wear using micrometers and visual or vision systems.

Responsibilities

+ Receive, store, setup, and issue cutting tools, hand tools, and fixtures in a machine shop.

+ Maintain and manage inventory levels within the computer system.

+ Setup tools based on tool lists and setup sheets.

+ Issue tools and assist machinists as necessary.

+ Create job boxes for new jobs and label fixturing.

+ Update computer files related to inventory and tools.

+ Inspect and measure tools for defects and wear using micrometers and visual/vision systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
