Job Description

Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling implantable medical products. You will work primarily with the sub-assembly or cartridge that holds the suture repair line, aiding in rotator cuff injury treatments. Your main responsibility will be to tie very small knots in the suture repair line around anchors, sometimes using a microscope to ensure precision. Additionally, you will assemble molded plastic parts to create the shell of the cartridge and the apparatus used for implanting sutures.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble implantable medical products, focusing on the sub-assembly or cartridge.

+ Tie very small knots in the suture repair line around anchors, using a microscope as needed.

+ Assemble molded plastic parts to create the shell and apparatus for implanting sutures.

+ Demonstrate great hand dexterity and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality.

+ Document processes and maintain records in accordance with GDP (Good Documentation Practice).

+ Inspect and package medical devices, ensuring compliance with medical assembly standards.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with medical assembly, particularly manual assembly for over a year.

+ Proficiency in handling implantable medical products.

+ Great hand dexterity for precise knot tying.

+ Ability to work with microscopes for intricate assembly tasks.

+ Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and medical device assembly standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with inspection and packaging of medical devices.

+ Experience in a production environment, specifically cleanroom settings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Plain, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
