    Assembler - All Shift Available - $21/hr

     

    We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Assemblers. You will utilize hand and power tools for custom sheet metal assembly projects, working with electro-mechanical and test equipment to assemble, wire, and test products using sheet metal prints and electrical schematics.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize hand and power tools for custom sheet metal assembly projects.

    + Use electro-mechanical and test equipment to assemble, wire, and test products.

    + Assemble components, make wiring connections, and test using provided tools.

    + Accurately route, connect, fasten, and secure wires according to diagrams or work instructions.

    + Read blueprints, wiring schematics, and work instructions.

    + Work from job tickets, manuals, or digital instructions.

    + Use inspection equipment to ensure custom dimensions and quality are met.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience.

    + 1+ year of hand/power tool use.

    + Ability to read and write English.

    + Ability to use a computer to verify and sort jobs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous assembly experience with blueprint reading/electrical schematic reading.

    + Familiarity with inspection processes and systems controls.

    + Setup experience specific to department or equipment.

    + Appropriate communication skills (Read, Write, Speak, Listen).

    + Process and detail orientation.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a sheet metal fabrication and assembly environment with a moderate noise level. Required to wear steel-toed shoes and pants.

     

    1st Shift is 5am-3:30pm M-Th

     

    2nd Shift is 3:30pm-2am M-Th

     

    Weekend Shift is 5am-5:30pm F-Sun

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
