    Job Title: Equipment Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Equipment Assembler. Your primary role will be to efficiently assemble components using hand and power tools, ensuring the highest standards of quality. This role involves working within a clean, organized, and controlled manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize hand and power tools to assemble equipment

    + Access and interpret job lists on computer screens to determine units, parts, and tools needed for assembly.

    + Maintain a focus on quality and efficiency to ensure trouble-free operation of production lines.

    + Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and adhere to timelines.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Experience with mechanical assembly and interpreting blueprints.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs (or 40 lbs independently) and perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, standing, and using equipment.

    + Capability to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required within a year of permanent conversion.

    + Company offers a GED program for employees.

    Work Environment

     

    This role offers two shifts: First shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM with possible overtime to 4:30 PM, and second shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM with potential overtime to 12:30 AM. The facility features a large, clean, and organized manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections based on materials and production.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.75/hr.
