Now hiring for Forklift Operators/Material Handlers on 1st and 3rd Shift!

Job Description:

The individual will be responsible for ensuring that the product is handled properly through critical tasks such as loading, unloading, weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, and labeling of pallets. The individual will be palletizing frozen meat from the chest freezer and placing it on pallets to be shipped out. Additionally, the individual will operate a sit-down forklift to move products.

Responsibilities:

+ Load and unload products safely and efficiently.

+ Weigh, bag, pack, unpack, and label pallets as needed.

+ Palletize frozen meat from the chest freezer for shipment.

+ Operate a sit-down forklift to transport products.

Essential Skills:

+ Proficiency in warehouse operations and general labor.

+ Material handling expertise.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Experience operating a forklift.

Work Environment:

This position requires working in a colder environment due to handling frozen materials. The temperature typically ranges from 50 degrees in winter to 80 degrees in summer. There is a noticeable smell from the frozen meat, which consists of totes of chicken parts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mifflin, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.67 - $20.67/hr.
