    Join Select Medical’s Financial Planning & Analysis team and help support the financial performance of hospitals across the country. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner with Finance and operational leaders to drive meaningful impact through analytics, forecasting, and strategic support.

    Responsibilities

    What You’ll Do

    As a Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial success of our acute inpatient hospitals by:

    + Providing accurate financial forecasting and reporting to support operational decision-making

    + Analyzing large, complex datasets to identify trends, drive performance, and enhance patient satisfaction

    + Supporting the development and presentation of the annual inpatient budget

    + Partnering with Directors of Finance and Business Development to prepare pro forma analyses for acquisitions, start-ups, and relocations

    + Analyzing consolidated financial statements

    + Completing market analysis and calculating contract rates, including evaluating the impact of regulatory changes

    + Delivering complex ad hoc analyses for hospital leadership

    Qualifications

    What We’re Looking For

    Required:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in **Accounting, Finance, or Business Management**

    + **3–5 years** of progressive business or financial analysis/reporting experience

    + Strong **MS Excel skills**

    + Ability to independently research, analyze, and communicate financial information

    + Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines

    + Excellent written and verbal communication

    + Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced environment

    Helpful, but not required:

    + Experience in the **healthcare industry**

    + Working knowledge of **ORACLE G/L, ADI, or HMS**

     

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (17055) and operates in an on-site/hybrid model. You’ll enjoy a collaborative campus setting with outdoor rest areas and walking trails—perfect for quick breaks or recharging during the day.
