Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair a wide range of production equipment and systems within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, EDMs, lathes, Swiss machines, water jets, robotic systems, presses, and other manufacturing equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

+ Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for accurate repairs and installations, ensuring all procedures adhere to safety standards.

+ Conduct inspections and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities to support the operational reliability of the facility.

+ Assist with approximately 10 new equipment installations annually, contributing to the expansion and modernization of the production line.

+ Operate forklifts and lifting equipment safely to support maintenance and installation activities.

+ Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

+ Follow all safety protocols during maintenance and installation tasks to ensure a safe working environment.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience on relevant equipment and machines.

+ Proficiency with electrical maintenance tasks, blueprints, and schematics.

+ Skills in CNC maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Technical Degree (Preferred).

+ CNC Maintenance Experience (Preferred).

+ Experience working independently in an industrial maintenance position (Preferred).

Work Environment

This position is on the 3rd shift, Sunday night-Thursday morning (11PM-7AM). Training will be conducted on the 1st shift, Monday-Friday for the first 8-12 weeks (7AM-3PM). The facility is massive, housing 500 employees with 15 maintenance employees on the 1st shift and one other on the 3rd shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Forest Lake, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.80 - $44.23/hr.
