CNC Programmer - 1st Shift - $35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at our Fremont location. This role involves using MasterCAM for machine programming and operating various mills, including boring and lathe machines. You will also work with Makino A77 and A88 4-axis horizontal machining centers and HAAS VF-6/50 Vertical machines.

Responsibilities

+ Program and set up CNC equipment by setting tooling, offsets, and proving out new product programming.

+ Complete offsets, tooling changes, setups, and adjust speeds and feeds.

+ Read and interpret G&M codes and GD&T.

+ Read blueprints and ensure quality control on parts.

+ Communicate effectively with machinists on the shop floor to convey information and instructions clearly.

+ Explore new concepts and tooling to identify areas for continuous improvement within the work environment.

+ Provide assistance to production with ongoing programming for all established production needs.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in setting up and operating CNC Machines.

+ Proficiency in programming with MasterCAM.

+ Ability to read G&M codes and GD&T.

+ Experience using micrometers, calipers, and style indicators.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with 3D modeling and SolidWorks is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is based at the Fremont location, operating primarily on the first shift with flexible hours available. The team in Fremont is small, creating a close-knit work environment. Employees work to produce parts for the racing industry, such as crankshafts and connecting rods. The dress code is casual and safety-focused.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
